Time

I've been working on some aphorisms lately, and here is one:

Time, that invisible thief.

I thought that perhaps I'd heard it before, but couldn't remember where. So I googled it, and could not find it. Isn't it amazing that, not only can a person come up with something new, after thousands of years of human speech, but that you can actually check and see if it is original?
